Equity Investment
Key Fund can also take an Equity stake in an organisation. The minimum Key Fund Equity investment is £20,000 and there is a £50,000 maximum (To a maximum of 20% of the aggregated shareholding). Match funds of 20% of the total project value will be required.
The standard agreement term is for 5 years and the Key Fund aims to secure at least an 8% return on its investments. However, all equity investments are individually negotiated with bespoke shareholder agreements and may be subject to different terms and conditions.
