The Global Grants programme has now completed its second phase, and the final pot provided pre-matched grants to help community regeneration across South Yorkshire.
Since its inception in 2006 Global Grants has supported voluntary and community groups in specifically targeted areas of the region. Grants of up to £10,000 have been delivered by a team of dedicated Outreach Workers for Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.
The Global Grants chest included contributions from Rotherham MBC - Neighbourhood Renewal Fund, Barnsley Development Agency (BDA), Barnsley Black and Ethnic Minority Initiative (BBEMI), Barnsley MBC - SRB, South Yorkshire Community Foundation - NRF and Doncaster MBC - NRF, matched to Objective 1 ESF.
