15 Jan 2008: £1.35 Million for Social Enterprises

Key Fund Yorkshire is currently in negotiations to secure a £1.35 million contract from Yorkshire Forward as part of the larger Charity Bank in the North fund worth £9 million.

The contract will allow the Key Fund to support the development and growth of social enterprises across Yorkshire and the Humber by making investments of up to £30,000 in a mixture of grants and loans.

Ann Oldroyd, Chief Executive Officer of Key Fund Yorkshire, said "This is a vital opportunity for the Key Fund moving forward into 2008, to give support to groups that can't otherwise access this kind of funding".

For more information on the funding available through the Key Fund, see our finance packages section.
