14 Jan 2008: Key Fund Annual Public Meeting
The Key Fund's Annual Public Meeting (APM) on Friday 11th January 2008 was extremely successful. David Blunkett, MP for Sheffield Brightside, attended as keynote speaker and also gave generously of his time talking to delegates at the end of the afternoon.
In addition, Julian Dobson, acted as 'compere' for the event. Julian, one of the founding directors of New Start Magazine (the first weekly regeneration magazine for the UK), 'interviewed' a number of the Key Fund's success stories such as Barnsley Community Build and Micky B’s Community Café.
The APM was well attended with guests including The Lord Mayor of Sheffield; Councillor Arthur Dunworth, The Lady Mayoress; Councillor Mrs Kathleen Chadwick and Doncaster's Chair of Council; Councillor Tony Sockett. The event was much enjoyed by all.
