For the second year running, the Biz Awards 2008 recognised and celebrated the enterprising spirit in Yorkshire and Humber.
The gala awards evening took place at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Wednesday 25th June 2008, and awarded those who have overcome adversity when setting up their business and have had success against the odds.
There were a number of successes on the night for clients of the Key Fund. The Key Fund sponsored the Biz Award for Enterprise in the Community and were delighted that two of our most recent clients were shortlisted for this. St George’s Crypt scooped the award, with Higher Rhythm coming runner up. Another winner at the Biz Awards was Doncaster Re-Furnish, as they picked up the award for Enterprise through Innovation and the much coveted award of Business of the Year.
