14 Apr 2009: New Loan Fund Available
Due to additional support from Yorkshire Forward, Key Fund Yorkshire is providing loans of £1,000 to £15,000 for existing social enterprises in Yorkshire and the Humber.
The loans are being made available, until June 2009, to help viable organisations that are experiencing difficulty as a result of the current economic climate and the related squeeze on available credit.
“It is becoming more and more difficult for social enterprises to access loan support through traditional means, particularly when they are facing difficulty as a direct result of the credit crunch” commented Key Fund Yorkshire’s Chief Executive Officer, Ann Oldroyd, “The Key Fund’s new Cash Flow loans are designed to support the enterprises that otherwise may struggle to survive”.
The Key Fund are providing Cash Flow loans as part of Yorkshire Forward’s Transition Loan Fund; an initiative set up to support regional businesses, that are facing a shortfall of working capital, through the current economic climate.
